People of the world,
Disaster has struck along the West Coast of Europe and Africa. The nations of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; Spain; Portugal; and regions in West Africa are in dire need of our assistance. The Security Council recognises this as a threat to human security and is doing everything in its power to mitigate the negative events of this crisis.
During an emergency session, Russia, China, and Egypt have established a joint task force in order to alleviate the humanitarian loss in West Africa. Furthermore, all Member States in the Council are working closely with the European Union in an attempt to coordinate humanitarian efforts in the region. We have also reached out to the African Union in an attempt to establish a specialised task force to deal with the humanitarian crisis. The United States have dispatched reconnaissance vessels in the area to further assess the situation.
Expressing its sincerest condolences to the victims of this tragedy, the Security Council reaffirms its resolve in dealing with this tragedy in a timely manner and encourages all Member States to take the gravity of the situation into account during their discussions.
